“ Great service! Awesome food! Hope your hungry!! I mean World class!!! And some awesome dudes! ”
“ The BBQ tri tip is smoky and tender. Great bark on the outside with perfectly rendered fat. (I asked for it). The 1/2 lb in the box felt heavy! Balanced sauce that’s a little sweet and tangy which I asked for on the side. Mac n cheese was a good combo. They do good work. The best BBQ always comes from a food truck! Can’t wait to try again. ”
“ Best Ave BBQ Boys: Smoke, Meat, and the Gospel of Fire Barbecue is a religion. Some places preach it. Some places bastardize it. And then there are the true believers—the ones who don’t need to sermonize because their food does all the talking. Best Ave BBQ Boys is one of those places. I ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich, and the moment I took that first bite, I knew I was in the hands of pitmasters who respect the craft. The meat—oh, the meat—was tender in a way that suggests time, patience, and an almost spiritual understanding of fire and flesh. Smoky, but not overpowering. Bold, but not obnoxious. These guys have found the delicate, elusive balance between too much and not enough, and they hold the line like guardians of the old ways. Then there’s the BBQ sauce—not some sickly-sweet, store-bought sugar bomb, but a proper, house-made concoction that clings to the meat like a well-rehearsed dance partner. Tangy, rich, smoky—it doesn’t just complement the sandwich; it elevates it. And let’s talk about the hoagie roll. So many barbecue joints treat bread as an afterthought, but not here. This one held up like a champion—sturdy, yet yielding, doing its job without getting in the way. Service? Friendly. Fast. No nonsense. Two minutes from order to table. Because when you know exactly what you’re doing, there’s no need for delay. This isn’t just a place that serves barbecue. This is a place that understands barbecue. And that, my friends, is worth coming back for. Again. And again. And again. Great food deserves great company. Join me at Northwest Chef Food Reviews on Facebook for more delicious discoveries! ”
“ The food is absolutely amazing. Some of the best ribs I ever had. Baked potatoes, awesome. Mac & cheese, awesome. Tri tip roast, awesome. There’s even a small air conditioned room in that parking lot, even if all this is basically a food truck. ”
“ I once read that if a BBQ joint does not have a pile of wood piled up... that it's not a real BBQ place. This is hands down the best BBQ that I've had this side of the Mississippi! If you look around back, you'll see why as there are piles of wood stacked behind. Wait till you taste what they make! Truly a treasure!! ”
“ Holy cow. For our one and only BBQ experience in America we chose the best spot!! Such good food and for a great price. The meat just falls apart. Great homemade BBQ sauce. Very friendly people. Loved the variety platter to get a bit of everything. The hot dog was a mountain of food too!! Highly highly recommend ”
“ Generous portions and well prepared meat! I visit CDA twice a month and I’ve tried several BBQ food trucks based upon reviews. This one definitely lives up the five star ratings. The 1/2 pound rack of ribs and 1/2 pound tri-tip were massive and smoked perfectly. Baked beans were excellent but just a little sweet for my taste. This BBQ was significantly better than others in the area because the meat was flavorful but not over seasoned. Staff was friendly and patient. I’m glad I tried it... it’s worth a visit. ”
“ The best BBQ I ever have ,great job guy I believe I forgot to leave the good review so I'm doing right now hehe ! ”
